A surprisingly poor interview by Bernie, weaving and dodging like never before. Examining the 4,000+ YouTube comments on this video, 99% were negative towards him. Most felt he had betrayed them, showing little courage or real purpose. The other aspect of this interview was Kyle being excluded, on Bernie’s request. One commenter on Youtube summed it up best.
“By taking the interview on the condition that Kyle is not there they are essentially playing softball in exchange for access, something they both accuse mainstream media of all the time. They should have said no and Bernie should not have asked that Kyle [or Saagar] be left out. Everyone is at fault here I think.”
These leaders will deceive and disappoint us
The disappointment and betrayal felt here for Bernie we’ve felt before. The charismatic Obama in 2008, promised hope and change, but instead was just another puppet president for Wall St, Pharma and the military establishment. Then came Trump in 2016 who promised much on the campaign like universal healthcare, more jobs, but delivered nothing for ordinary Americans, although was great for media ratings. Now we’ve Biden, who it appears is more of the same, if somewhat less coherent and lacking the daily tweets. But he’s breaking just as many campaign promises as his two predecessors.

“I never had much faith in leaders. I am willing to be charged with almost anything, rather than to be charged with being a leader. I am suspicious of leaders, and especially of the intellectual variety. Give me the rank and file every day in the week…” Eugene Debs, 1906
